AD Campaign 2008-10 / Marco Bicego / Art Direction
2008 / For my first Ad Campaign for Marco Bicego, we worked with photographer Kenneth Willardt in New York and super model Bridget Hall. Nature was emerging as a central theme in the Brand’s communication strategy, as was the concept of ‘layering’ jewels. Wearing many pieces of jewelry together instead of the more traditional 3 piece set (called a parure) was a new direction to style jewels and it related perfectly to the ‘Everyday Luxury’ theme the Brand was building on. We wanted a minimal, fresh, clean and contemporary attitude that incorporated nature, in one elegant flash of the light bulb. I think we captured each moment perfectly – the images are still timeless and up-to date even today.
