Color Finishishes / M&Z Rubinetterie / Art Direction

2007 / M&Z Rbinetteri is a large tap producer in northern Italy and I started working as Art Director for the company in 2007. They had been working on an innovative research of color coatings and finishes used primarily in the auto industry. The finishes are extremely resistant and do not scratch. We broke the large group of research into three main categories and applied them to the faucets in their catalogue. The first was “Metallics” which included rough and polished finishes, the most interesting and beautiful of all the results in my opinion, then a full range of architectural colors in matt and gloss, and last of all “Iridescent colors” targeting a more eastern market focused on luxury.
